Peter Lehmann - Mentor 2001 75cl Bottle
Red Wine A rich black cherry, with signs of maturity at the rim. A very stylish Cabernet blend showing classical cabernet cassis, a touch of wild raspberry from the Merlot and good berry shiraz characters. Each variety complements the other, giving a velvety mouth-filling wine with superb structure, and a fine-grained tannin finish. It can be cellared with confidence for a further 5-8 years. Mentor is a great food wine and is an ideal accompaniment for rich game dishes, roast duck or goose, braised ox tail and a tangy matured cheese. Each year, the Peter Lehmann winemakers identify the best Cabernet Sauvignon of vintage for blending with selected varieties to create a multi-dimensional wine of great distinction. Sourced from the The Stonewell, Ebenezer and Light Pass districts of the Barossa Valley. Fermented and matures for 18 months in new French oak hogsheads. Store Price£16.68 Visit Store
