Jacobs Creek - Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 75cl Bottle
Red Wine Sufficient rainfall late winter and early spring preceding the 2004 vintage, which filled soil profiles, resulting in good shoot growth and canopy development. Climatic conditions during spring proved ideal for flowering. Above average temperatures during the summer months particularly February stressed the vines and consequently delayed ripening. However, milder autumn temperatures provided ideal conditions for ripening and harvesting. Deep crimson red with purple highlights. Bouquet. A nose displaying intense varietal aromas of stewed plums, green capsicum, blackcurrant and rhubarb with hints of spice and subtle oak influence. Palate. A fruit driven style with concentrated flavours of blackcurrants and plums with hints of spice, a nice restrained use of oak, fine tannins and persistent length. A stylish wine that is full-bodied, with admirable balance and is very approachable. red wine Store Price£7.62 Visit Store
