• 2007 Crozes Hermitage, Domainebarret (half) Red Wine Domaine Barret Thoughtful Etienne Pochon is our touchstone for quality in the large northern Rhône appellation of Crozes-Hermitage, which surrounds Hermitage proper and yields lighter Syrah styles. Generations of Pochons have occupied the cobblestone-built medieval Château de Curson, but have only made their own wines, by eco-friendly methods, since 1988.
