• 2008 Monty's Maccabeu, Dry White Vin De Pays Des Cotes Catalanes White Wine Monty's Vineyard The wine hack Monty Waldin rented 2.2 hectares in 2006/7 of vines in the Roussillon from vigneron Eric Laguerre and spent a year nurturing and working the vines through to cropping and making his first red this was done following the organic principals that Monty has always espoused. This is his second vintage.In 2007/8 he rented a furthe r 2 hectares from Eric, and made this, his first vintage of white, from 100% low yielding (27h/h) Maccabeu,fermented in old oak barrels with some malolactic fermentation.
